Taking a dip

The weather was nice, so we decided to take a dip in the pool. It wasn't as warm as his first time, but still fantastic. Plus, it gave me an excuse to have him wear his little swim trunks and shirt. The Grandmas enjoyed cooling off with Brevyn.

Crown Candy Kitchen

As part of the Grandma's visit, we spent a day out on the town. Enjoying Pappy's Smokehouse for lunch and then Crown Candy Kitchen for a little afternoon treat. Gram LOVES her ice cream (as we are sure some of you know). She was tempted to do the milkshake challenge. We can't wait for Brevyn to have a face full of ice cream some day soon.

Great-Grandma Time

Matt's mom and grandma are here to visit. Leaving lots of kisses all over Mr. Brevyn. Great Grandma loves to hold the little guy.

Daddy's Emergency Apron

This one is for Aunt Janice. Matt decided to break out his EMERGENCY apron. I think Daddy's Bottle is a little out of control. We will have to keep this around. Maybe put it in a little glass case on the wall with a little hammer. Love Brevyn's face, he looks a little worried by the situation.

Dr. Dewey

On Wednesday, we went to see my doctor. It was a great visit and kind of funny. The nurses all knew who he was. They called him the "Bastille Baby." I guess Dr. Dewey came back to the office after his birth and was telling everyone the "interesting" story of his birth. One for the books I guess.

"BOYZ" in the bed

"We be the BOYZ," seems to be a commonly heard phrase in our house at the moment. Matt loves his litte man. Tonight I came down the hall to find them lounging in the bed, spending their quality time together. Love them both.

Blackberry picking and a picnic

This weekend was full of fun. On Saturday we went to Eckert's Farm to go blackberry picking. It was a lot of fun. The blackberries were so ripe. They also had peaches for sale. But the picking had just ended. We made an awesome cobbler with them. On Sunday, we went for a walk with the dogs at McNair Park and had a little picnic too. He got his first real feel of the grass and had some good tummy time. He is getting so good at holding his head up high. Before we know it, he will be crawling and walking.

Festival of the Little Hills

On Friday August 21st, we went to the Festival of the Little Hills in St Charles. We ate lots of food that was bad for us (but tasted great), enjoyed good music and ran into a few friends. We even found Brevyn a wooden train set that spelled out his name. Overall, a wonderful night.

Never to soon to bleed ORANGE.

His Aunt Kristen & Uncle Steve got him a Syracuse University shirt. We already know that this kid was born to bleed orange. From one of the pictures, it looks like he already knows how bad the football season is going to be. :)

Bath fun with Daddy

Matt couldn't resist taking some cute photos of the little man after his bath. We love the towels that we got from his Aunt Kristen & Uncle Stevie. They are so soft and colorful. He is just too cute for words.
