B Lately (9 Months)

Brevyn is 9 months old now! He weighs in at 21lbs and is 29 3/4" tall! This kid is out of control these days. Getting into EVERYTHING and eating anything that lands on his plate. Some of his favorite foods are baked ziti, pumpkin, strawberries, pineapple, spinach, yogurt and peas. I don't think this kid has met a meal he didn't like. He loves playing hide-n-go seek and climbing under or over anything in his path. We love playing with him. Most of all, we love watching him take pride in all of his accomplishments.

The Grand Canyon

As part of our "Western Adventure" we visited the Grand Canyon. To us it was awe inspiring. To Brevyn it probably looked like a big, dirty playpen.

Sedona, AZ

Beautiful Arizona. Brevyn, the little hiker. We did almost 20 miles of hiking in some of the most gorgeous scenery. Brevyn seemed to enjoy it. He had his eyes open for everything, taking it all in. Even the part where we scared Grandma by going out on Devil's Bridge. Great vacation.

Water Sports

Brevyn really likes being in the water. During vacation he got to go in the pool, the whirlpool and the jacuzzi tub. He LOVED taking baths with all the bubbles in the tub. Of course we had to give him a little "Don King" bubble hair.

You Spin Me Right Round...

Brevyn has an activity table that he LOVES! He gets the biggest kick out of it, just running around in circles. Quite frankly, it makes us laugh just as much if not more.

The Park

On Wednesday the weather was great, so we decided a little trip to the park was in order. Brevyn went on a swing for the 1st time. At first he was not much of a fan but he warmed up to the idea after a little bit. He enjoyed the sunshine and playing with his friend Mena.

Daddy's 1st Trip To The Zoo

On Sunday, the weather was warm and we decided to make a trip to the St Louis Zoo. It was Matt's 1st time and Brevyn showed Daddy all his favorite things. We saw the giraffes, rhinos, hippos, elephants, all the big cats and of course the penguins. Brevyn loves his daddy. By the end of the day we were all beat. We went home, enjoyed a nice dinner and relaxed. What a great weekend.

Getting Into Trouble

So Brevyn is cruising along. He is crawling and climbing everywhere. Giving us quite a few heart attacks. We can't turn our backs for one second or he is up to no good. This is only the beginning of him giving us a run for our money. :)

We're In Trouble Now

Brevyn is a little past 7 months and every day he amazes us. Now he is pulling himself up on EVERYTHING. We got a little video of him standing up in his crib. He is just so strong. We can't wait to see what he surprises us with next.
