A little golf

Nothing like hitting a few balls to relieve stress! :) Matt had to "warm up" for his tournament this weekend. Little man and his daddy need to stop wearing matching outfits, because then the old ladies love him! Lots of fun.

Football with Daddy

Last Thursday night the boys settled in to watch the opening night of Football. The "Orangemen" were enjoying the game. However, it seems like it was a little past Brevyn's bedtime

Softball and Frozen Custard

On the Grandma's last night, we went to go see Matt play softball. But first we had to stop off at Fritz's to get everyone their fix of frozen custard. YUM. Matt hit 2 triples and was pitching that night. They destroyed the other team. Woohoo!

Mall of America and IKEA

Over Labor Day weekend, we took a trip up to Minnesota. Yes....Matt, myself, Brevyn, both Grandmas, and the dogs piled into the car to make a 9+ hour trip. The car was piled high with stuff. We looked like the Griswalds heading to Wally World! While in Minnesota, we took Matt's mom and grandma to IKEA and the Mall of America. Both were lots of fun. They couldn't get over how big both of them were. They were training Brevyn from a young age to like shopping.

Apple Picking

On Sunday we went to Eckert's Farm to pick honeycrisp apples. They were delicious! Matthew sampled a few, okay....a little more than a few. After picking (and eating) we enjoyed some yummy frozen custard. Brevyn slept through most of the trip. Can't wait until he needs to sit on his daddy's shoulders to reach the good ones. Lots of fun.

Journey To The Top

We took Brevyn and his Grandmas to the top of the Gateway Arch in St Louis. We showed Brevyn the Cardinal's Stadium, where we hope he will one day hit homeruns. The Grandmas were excited to see the muddy Mississippi River. Overall, a good time.

Old Towne St Charles

We went shopping in Old Towne St Charles over the weekend. Little man doesn't seem to mind it at all. The little shops all have interesting things inside. Shopping was right up Grandma Judy's alley. Lots of fun.

Taking a dip

The weather was nice, so we decided to take a dip in the pool. It wasn't as warm as his first time, but still fantastic. Plus, it gave me an excuse to have him wear his little swim trunks and shirt. The Grandmas enjoyed cooling off with Brevyn.

Crown Candy Kitchen

As part of the Grandma's visit, we spent a day out on the town. Enjoying Pappy's Smokehouse for lunch and then Crown Candy Kitchen for a little afternoon treat. Gram LOVES her ice cream (as we are sure some of you know). She was tempted to do the milkshake challenge. We can't wait for Brevyn to have a face full of ice cream some day soon.

Great-Grandma Time

Matt's mom and grandma are here to visit. Leaving lots of kisses all over Mr. Brevyn. Great Grandma loves to hold the little guy.
