1 Year Photos

Who can believe one year has passed already. We took the little man for some photos. He is such a ham! A little applause and he was smiling from ear to ear. He is a great little boy.

Moutain Goat Baby

No children were harmed in the taping of this video! Turned around to find Brevyn climbing into his highchair. He's too strong for his own good. We anticipate numerous visits to the ER.

TROUBLE!

After closely observing Matt and I, Brevyn figured out how to get back into his favorite drawer.

Eating His Cupcake

Just a little messy.

WARNING: SUGAR OVERLOAD!!

This is just to give you an idea of the sugar high Brevyn was on after his cake. We could not stop laughing. It was insane. :)

Having My Cake and Eating It Too

On Sunday we had friends over for a little BBQ and some cake and ice cream. I made a Winnie The Pooh cake for Mr. Brevyn and the Hemminghaus' brought homemade strawberrry ice cream. He was a little neater eating his cake this time around, but he still managed to get it everywhere. Judging from the pictures, I would say he is a fan of chocolate. Still have to pinch myself when I say he is one.

1 Year

One year has passed. One year has flown by. We blinked and before we knew it, he was one. Brevyn spent his first birthday doing fun things with his friend Mena. They did a "camp out" in the living room. Then we took him to America's Incredible Pizza (think Chuckie Cheese) for dinner and he enjoyed all the lights and games. After dinner we gave him his very first cupcake. All for him, needless to say, he enjoyed it.

The Arch on the 4th

As part of our 4th extravaganza, we went to Fair St. Louis at the Arch. It was Danny's 1st time to the Arch. Even though it was unnaturally hot, we did manage to have a good time. We listened to a little music, took a ride to the top and got to see an air show too. All before the crazy rainstorm rolled through. A great day.

Happy 4th of July!

Of course we had to do fireworks for the 4th of July. We went down to the St Charles waterfront. They put on a really great show. Brevyn LOVED the fireworks. We were worried that he would think they were scary. Not our kid. The whole experience was worth it to see the look on his face.

Your Tour Guide Brevyn

As part of Grandpa and Uncle Dan's visit, Brevyn took them to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. We all go to taste some beer. Even Brevyn got a sip of rootbeer. Brevyn is an old pro with the Brewery. We figure by age 5 he will be giving tours and telling everyone the 7 steps to brewing a perfect Budweiser.

Cardinal's Game

We went to the Cardinal's game (7-2-10). It was Dad, Danny and Brevyn's 1st Cardinal game. It was "brockabrella" night. Brevyn did not want to wear his. It was also military appreciation night. We got to see an awesome show by the 82nd Airborne. Brevyn got a bunny from Build-A-Bear and he named him Alberto. We got to see the Cards dominate the Brewers. It was a great night for baseball.

Swim Lessons

In June, Brevyn started taking swimming lessons. The lessons are more about getting used to the water and socialization, than actual swimming. They sing songs and do "swim" moves to the music. He does "laps." Our little duckie loves the water (except when Mommy dunks him).

Father's Day

Matt's 1st Father's Day was spent....well, being Brevyn's awesome Dad. They did some swimming in the pool, followed by a nice dinner. They are 2 little boys who love to play.
