Honeycrisp Please

Back in August we went to Eckert's with the Hemminghaus family to pick some delicious Honeycrisp apples. Matt made sure to lift Brevyn up so he could get the good apples. Brevyn and Mena really liked the farm dog. They even shared their apples with him. When we got home later, we had a nice apple crisp for dessert.

The Beach

One of our last things to do before we left NY was to go to Green Lakes State Park. It was Brevyn's 1st time at a beach. We went with some of Mom's family and ended up having a little wedding reunion of our flower girls and ring bearer. Brevyn thought is was great to get dirty and to splash in the water. He is such a boy!

Cousins Are Fun!

During our visit to NY, Brevyn got to play with some of his cousins. Joshua was so happy to finally have another boy to play with. Brevyn really enjoyed all the playtime.

His Best Buddy Turns 1!

Brevyn's best little buddy Cooper turned 1! Cooper had a big sports party and it was a lot of fun. Brevyn got his first taste of a bounce house(which is now an addiction). He was very happy for his buddy. It was a great day that ended in a little naked baby buddy time! :)

Old Forge

While in NY we went to Old Forge to Camp Szczerba (aka Aunt Jill and Uncle Matt's camp). Brevyn had lots of fun hiking with his Dad and playing soccer with his cousin Erik. Not to mention a little dip in the hot tub!

Chuckie Cheese

Brevyn went to Chuckie Cheese with his buddy Cooper. He LOVED it! He got to shoot some hoops with is Daddy and play skee ball "his way."

Sandy Pond

We had our first family camping trip at Sandy Pond. Brevyn got to sleep in a tent, roast marshmallows, play in lily pads, catch fish and find turtles. Our little guy really likes the outdoors. I see lots more camping trips in his future.

1st Chiefs Game

In August Brevyn went to his first Syracuse Chiefs game. He went with his Grandpa Jim and his Great Aunt Ann, Great Uncle Gary and his cousins Jeff and Christopher. Brevyn got a Scooch from his cousin Chris, or as Brevyn called it, "Kitty." At the end we got to see my Nana's memorial brick outside. I wish she was still here to enjoy the game with her Great Grandson.

NY Birthday Bash!

Brevyn had a Big 1st Birthday Bash at his Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Latz's house. There was a Pooh Bear theme and plenty of that lovable bear to go around. Brevyn ate lots of cake, opened lots of awesome presents and partied like a rock star. We were so glad that everyone could make it such a great day.

Baptism

In August we had Brevyn baptized at Calvary United Methodist Church. The day was shared with lots of family and friends. Our very good friends Kristen and Steve Kohanski were named as his God Parents. We know they will love him as much as we do.
